CMS Announces 2019 Medicare Part B Premiums and Deductibles

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced that the 2019 Medicare Part B monthly premium will be $135.50, a slight increase from $134 in 2018.

The annual deductible also will increase to $185 from $183; however, SERS Medicare enrollees will not be affected by this increase as SERS’ Medicare plans do not require a deductible.
