This is a new coverage option for 2017. The SERS Marketplace Wraparound Plan is only available to health care participants who are not eligible for Medicare and who are not enrolled in Medicaid.
Participants can choose insurance from any insurer offering coverage in the Health Insurance Marketplace, and if eligible, receive a federal subsidy to lower their premium. The SERS Marketplace Wraparound Plan offers additional benefits to help pay for deductibles, co-pays, and other costs. There is no additional charge for the Wraparound Plan.
